The Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center’s FY 2021–2025 Strategic Plan established the Center’s vision, mission, and priorities for advancing transportation planning and policy research, education, and technical assistance. The plan reaffirmed VTC’s commitment to solving transportation challenges through interdisciplinary research, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge sharing while emphasizing equity, empathy, empowerment, and social justice. It also outlined the Center’s core areas of expertise, including transit-oriented development, active transportation, transportation equity, environmental sustainability, transportation finance, and emerging mobility technologies. This strategic plan guided VTC’s work from fiscal years 2021 through 2025 and is maintained here as an archival publication.
