Broadening the New Jersey Safe Routes to School Program: Services, Training, Coordination and Technical Assistance Update Report
The New Jersey Safe Routes to School Resource Center provides services, training, coordination and technical assistance directly to regional planning associations, organizations and local and regional governments. May of 2013 marks the beginning of the third full year of the New Jersey Safe Routes to School Resource Center, and the number of projects and partners has grown since the project’s inception and these achievements are reflected in this update report, including:
- A summary of assistance provided by NJ SRTS Resource Center to support regional Transportation Management Associations
- Results of the SRTS Regional Coordinator Survey
- Synopsis of initial performance measures to be tracked by the NJ SRTS Resource Center
- Outreach progress reports — data compiled to show outreach and programming efforts of the SRTS Regional Coordinators in schools, municipalities, school districts and counties.
