This discussion paper, produced in 2002, focuses on issues regarding the accommodation of pedestrians throughout the state. It is presented in two sections: Section 1 provides a review of NJDOT guidelines, policies and other national and international guidelines relative to accommodating pedestrians based on road function, traffic volumes and speeds.
