As the excitement builds for the upcoming global soccer tournament, communities across New Jersey have an opportunity to showcase their public spaces. VTC partnered with the NJTPA to develop From Streets to Stadiums: Transforming Public Spaces to Celebrate the World’s Game, a guide that helps communities plan soccer-themed events and activations that enliven public spaces, support local businesses, and bring people together.

The guide provides practical tips on organizing soccer-themed events and demonstration projects, along with considerations for the planning process. It includes ideas for staging events or creating temporary soccer-themed installations, as well as lists of materials and instructions for using them.
