NJTIP Travel Training

This 3- day program introduces participants to accessible fixed route transportation and other mobility options, in New Jersey. The assessment process helps them recognize the benefits of learning how to travel safely and independently, by learning how to access a destination of their choosing which can lead to increased independence and economic opportunity. Participant expectations are communicated and desired outcomes are also discussed. Most participants are young adults seeking employment or job-development activities. Counties Served: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Union, Monmouth, Ocean, Camden.
