With New Jersey’s new governor now elected, the months ahead present a critical opportunity to set a course toward a more resilient, innovative, and equitable future for the state. In anticipation of the transition, the New Jersey State Policy Lab invited Rutgers faculty and staff to identify evidence-based policy priorities that can guide the incoming administration.
The result highlights research-backed strategies spanning transportation, housing, infrastructure, environment, energy, education, and public-sector innovation.
VTC researchers contributed to this effort, offering insights that underscore the importance of equitable, sustainable, and community-focused planning to advance New Jersey’s economic and environmental goals.
