Andrea Lubin

Senior Research Specialist

Andrea Lubin is a senior research specialist at the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center, with more than ten years of experience in transportation policy analysis, research, and outreach. Most of Ms. Lubin’s research initiatives target improving access to transportation for disadvantaged populations, including people with disabilities and older adults. Her professional strengths focus on designing and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research that often incorporate primary data collection and analysis through means including consumer surveys, key informant interview sessions, focus groups, and case study analysis.

Ms. Lubin is actively engaged in community affairs and serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Foundation for Aging; Middlesex County’s National Alliance for Mental Illness Board; the NJ TRANSIT ADA Task Force; the Mental Health Association of New Jersey Board of Trustees; and the Tufts Alumni of NJ Steering Committee and Community FoodBank event Committee. Ms. Lubin also serves on the TRB Accessible Transportation and Mobility committee.

She received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University and a Master of Science degree in public policy from the Eagleton Institute/Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
