POET continues to support the NYMTC Community Planning Workshop program. The Town of Pelham held a virtual public workshop to gather public input on feasible solutions to improve pedestrian safety on the route connecting Pelham Memorial High School and the Glover Field Athletic Complex. POET conducted outreach for the workshop and presented recommendations for the project area to the public and community stakeholders. This project was unique in that POET conducted specific outreach to local students to gather their feedback on the recommendations, hearing from almost 500 students.
