Traffic safety officers are invited to register for one of the free trainings on Pedestrian Safety Education & Enforcement (PSEE) offered this summer. Also known as “Cops in the Crosswalk,” PSEE operations are a form of high-visibility enforcement designed to increase community awareness of and compliance with New Jersey’s Stop and Stay Stopped Law.
After a successful training in coordination with Middletown Police Department in May, two additional trainings will be held in June and July. The trainings are open to law enforcement officers in New Jersey.
Capacity is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis — up to two officers per department may register.
