Mary Buchanan Receives 2018 Mortensen-Voorhees Award

Mary Buchanan is the 2018 recipient of the Mortensen-Voorhees Award for Achievement in Transportation Studies. Mary will be joining the research team of TransitCenter, a foundation focused on improving public transit in the U.S. through policy and advocacy. During her MCRP studies at the Bloustein School, she worked at the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center, where she contributed to an assessment of the transit industry workforce. As a student, Mary also interned at the NYC Department of Subways and participated in a transit planning studio to redesign several SEPTA bus routes in Philadelphia.
